I'm riding sometimes hard, bikeparks or some jumps with hard landings, every month i see a slightly loose spokes in the rear wheel I'm trying to tighten them, just to keep same tension (if the wheel is +/-1mm (1 milimiter) it's fine for me, right? equal tension is more important than .1 truiness ) I was thinking, if Parktool tensiometer would be useful for me or should I just look if the wheels is fairly straight/round in my frame and spokes not too loose (By sound or by touching them)

it is not art, it is exact science, every wheel has its equations, and btw you missed spoke position, on disc side spoke that is near disc should be inside of hub same for right side, if you wanna know why i will give you scientific answer, not artistic😉

It went together easily in less than an hour. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Make sure the front fork is forward or the pedals will hit the front tire. Tires are both a little soft so it needs air before I ride it. The rear wheel didn't come with a clamp regular bolts hold it on. The front had the clamp. No scratches out of box. Rims are a little off with a slight wobble. They could have spent more time with the spoke tool fixing the run out. So far out of the box I'm happy with it. I did replace the pedals with a nice aftermarket set. After riding it a bit my A$$ is a bit sore so I ordered another seat. Overall I'm nearly 60 and didn't ride a bike in 30 years. I like my new 29" Schwinn. It will be used for casual rides with my friend.

He modified the IceToolz branded tensiometer by installing digital dial indicator with data output, and sending current reading to Excel sheet or similar software by pressing the pedal, which is connected in parallel with a button on the datalink cable. Genius idea, bravo!

5:10 I would swap the aluminum piece with plastic to avoid leaving scratches on painted or polished rims.

Nice to see someone working at this level and still doing it entirely by hand (some builders use a hand drill when lacing ) . It may not be the fastest way but it’s efficient. Great video.

Can you tell me the correct spoke tension for mtb? My wheel are 20 or 25 deflection

Is the grease on the handlebars specific to carbon fiber bars? Coming from BMX and being an offroad newb, I would have thought reducing friction would be a bad thing.

Beautiful! Lots of grease used there! Maybe that why my old bikes are all frozen up- not enough lube! Surprised to see grease on the handlebar clamp though, we NEVER put grease there, your bars will never stay put! Maybe it is necessary with the carbon fiber bars? I just ordered a Gravity Bullseye Monster 5 for my first fat bike. Those RockShocks cost more than my whole bike!
